The Academy is an off-season camp designed to compliment and enhance high school and club season practices and training. It is also for athletes who are seeking to play at the high performance and/or post-secondary level and want
to gain additional training and exposure in the off-season. Our athletes have had exposure to coaching from USport and
NCAA coaches and athletes, as well as our High Performance Academy coaches.
Players will train in accordance with Volleyball Canada’s high performance development report card this year. Each player
will be assessed and will be individually coached to reach these national skill and fitness standards in the off-season.
Days and times are scheduled have been scheduled in August this year due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
We will be training locally this summer and will not be travelling out-of-province or to the USA.
All age groups will train on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday in the evenings in August for the first 3 weeks, followed by daytime sessions for the final week. These are tentative training times as we finalize our facility schedule, and are subject to change.
We WILL NOT be holding tryouts, this year.
We are thrilled to open this Academy opportunity to all athletes seeking to pursue post-secondary or high performance volleyball experiences.
Registration spaces are limited, and are on a first-registered basis - don't delay!
